The second largest fashion event of the year after the New York Fashion Week is Fashion Week Brooklyn.
FWBK has emerged as one of the leading fashion events showcasing the talent of aspiring and established designers from all around the world. In 2016 FWBK has been named the 5th most prestigious international fashion event!
Multiple famous influencers, creative people and designers, not to mention some renowned guests, attend FWBK each time. Each season supports various charitable and non-profit organizations.
Many amazing designers participated in the event this year. Lisa Monde became a featured model for Thunder Lily NYC. Together with the head designer and founder of Thunder Lily – Clare Tattersall, she showcased the unique techno-high-fashion outfits!
The founder of Thunder Lily, Clare, wanted to prove that high tech and high fashion can make the world a better place. She co-created a software to align the design-to-sales process into a single virtual experience. She consults with designers to bring technology to their designs and has launched FashionTech.Design – workshops for young designers to explore engineering and technology through learning fashion design and wearable tech.
