Lisa Monde is extremely excited to start rehearsals for the new Off-Broadway musical “Anne Frank” that will premiere on September 11th 2019 at the Center for Jewish History Theater. Directed and produced by David Serero, this musical is sure to be a hit! 12 actors on one small stage, a pianist and a cellist, will be telling a touching story of the little girl and her family, hiding in a Secret Annex from the horrors of the Holocaust. Lisa will be playing the mother of Anne Frank – Edith Frank. Based on the famous Diary of Anne Frank, this new musical, with an amazingly beautiful musical score, which is a mixture of operatic polyphony, musical theater recitatives and dramatic scenes, will undoubtedly find its way to Broadway!
