Lisa Monde is extremely excited to start rehearsals for the new Off-Broadway musical “Anne Frank” that will premiere on September 11th 2019 at the Center for Jewish History Theater. Based on the famous Diary of Anne Frank, this new musical, with an amazingly beautiful musical score, which is a mixture of operatic polyphony, musical theater recitatives and dramatic scenes, will undoubtedly find its way to Broadway! Come see the show on September 11th- September 24th.

Lisa is currently shooting a new short film -“Distraction”, where she is, once again, playing a spy… A secret meeting of two undercover agents at a regular bar. Lara is having an affair with a regular man, which makes her partner and former love interest – Chen, quite jealous… The movie is to come out at the end of Summer and it will be presented at various Festivals of Short Films in NY!

Last year Lisa was shooting her first Feature film – The Most Dangerous Man UVX, where she played Agent Kompromat, an inside liaison to Max Gunn.

And it’s finally here! The Most Dangerous Man is to premiere on April 10, 17 and 24 at the Cinépolis Chelsea 260 W 23rd St, New York, NY 10011.

This time – the classic and beloved story has a new twist to it – it is a murder mystery! The spectators will have to help our cast figure out – Who Killed Jacob Marley?

Once again, Lisa is back at the Manhattan Repertory Theater. This time Lisa directs a wonderful but very tragic drama by Christopher Arena “Rubicon Crossed” which is to premiere on September 22nd as part of the Fall One Act Competition. The author, Christopher Arena, writes: ” Award winning actors, Ivette Dumeng and Nicolas DiPierro, along with director, Lisa Monde have been so gentle and caring with these two damaged characters I wrote that I was almost moved to tears”.

Manhattan Repertory Theater has accepted Lisa’s short play “Master Class in Suicide Notes Writing” to be part of the Summer One Act Competition. Come see the show with a new cast, in an edited version on July 26-28 at the Manhattan Repertory Theater.
