Brief Summary:

The sparkling Bossa Nova singer, Eydie Gorme, hosts her own TV show in 1963. Eydie’s special Guest Star is the glamourous Hollywood Icon, Miss Elizabeth Taylor! By now Liz has starred in such classic films as National Velvet, Father of the Bride, A Place in the Sun, Giant and most recently she won the Academy Award for Butterfield 8 and now she is in town to publicize her epic motion picture, Cleopatra in which she co-stars with Richard Burton. Her very public personal life will most certainly be the main topic of conversation. Liz’s early years as a child actress working under the iron hand of the dictatorial Louis B. Mayer, her life-threatening illnesses and, naturally, her much discussed multiple husbands and divorces.
