Loosely based on a fairytale by the Brothers Grimm – Town Musicians of Bremen. A donkey, a dog, a cat and a rooster all past their prime years in life are being mistreated by their masters. They leave their homes and set out on a journey together. They decide to go to the town of Bremen, known for its freedom, to live without owners and become musicians there. On their way they run into a Troubadour, who becomes their new master, friend and rock-band leader. Their journey to Bremen is filled with dangers, like discovering a hut in the woods where robbers live. Collective mind of the five friends tricks the foolish robbers and they continue their trip to Bremen. During the first market place concert, Troubadour falls in love with a Princess. Her daddy – the King, is absolutely positively against his daughter’s affair with the vagrant musician. After some troubled solutions, love wins over the royal duty and the lovers run away together.
