The strong team of talented performers under the direction of Lisa Monde are rehearsing a brand-new production of the famous play by Jean Genet “The Maids”.
A reimagined new adaptation of Jean Genet’s famous play, where the director follows the author’s wishes for the first time ever… “All roles in the show must be played by men and only men”…The amazing cast consists of professional performers from the LGBTQIA theater community, as well as drag queens and drag kings! Genet would have been proud.
The Maids open for a limited run at the 3 Dollar Bill, Brooklyn, on December 1st.
