Last year the Players Club welcomed Dacre Stoker! This year – Dracula is back, but this time, on November 29th the Players Club hosted a special literary evening/ presentation of the newly published anthology by Lisa Monde – Dracula: Finding of a Shadow!
Dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the first publication of the novel Dracula, as well as the 175th anniversary of its author, Bram Stoker, this present edition includes Lisa Monde’s original play Dracula: Finding of a Shadow and a play by the guest-playwright Thomas R. Gordon – Dracula: Bloodlines. Besides the plays, two essays by Lisa Monde are also included in this book, shedding light on the mystery of the birth of the stellar literary character and the evolution of the image of Dracula. The foreword was written by the great-grandnephew of Bram Stoker – Dacre Stoker.
Lisa and Thomas were excited to share stories about the productions of both of their plays, as well as simply share their passion for Dracula with the fellow Drac fans!
