20 November, 2019 The musical “Anne Frank, a musical”

Hear-ye, hear ye! The wonderful musical “Anne Frank, a musical” is about to return to the Off-Broadway stage of New York City! The producers are planning on bringing the show back for an extended run in March 2020. Lisa will be returning as one of the original cast members – to resume the role of Edith Frank, the mother of Anne Frank! More updates to come.

9 November, 2019 Shooting of the film “Biff and Me”

Lisa is once again joining her good friend – the film director Nicola Rose! This time they are shooting a short film – “Biff and Me” about the sweet friendship of the two outcasts in school, who deal with bullying together and don’t let anyone come between them – they accept each other simply as they are – weird and fun, unconventional and bold! Lisa plays the Pageant Hostess – a former Beauty Queen! Coming out next year!

10 October, 2019 Winter Catalog of the St-Petersburg Global Trade House and Publishing Company

Lisa is very excited to be working with the St-Petersburg Global Trade House and Publishing Company on their new Winter Catalog. Lisa modeled several items from the new Winter Clothes Collection 2020. The cold weather is coming our way but Lisa is not afraid – she is cozy and warm in the beautiful Orenburg Shawls and woolen mittens! Check out some photos from the catalog here:

31 August, 2019 Anne Frank, a Musical

Lisa Monde is extremely excited to start rehearsals for the new Off-Broadway musical “Anne Frank” that will premiere on September 11th 2019 at the Center for Jewish History Theater. Based on the famous Diary of Anne Frank, this new musical, with an amazingly beautiful musical score, which is a mixture of operatic polyphony, musical theater recitatives and dramatic scenes, will undoubtedly find its way to Broadway! Come see the show on September 11th- September 24th.

4 June, 2019 Romeo and Juliet

Dreams do come true! Lisa Monde has scored one of her dream roles – she will be playing Lady Capulet in a new adaptation of William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”!
ROMEO and JULIET coming Off-Broadway in a World Premiere Jewish adaptation this June 2019 at the Center for Jewish History (15 West 16th Street New York NY 10011).
Five unique performances: June 13th at 3pm; June 16th at 6pm; June 18th at 8pm; June 20th at 8pm; June 23rd at 6pm.

Lisa is currently shooting a new short film -“Distraction”, where she is, once again, playing a spy… A secret meeting of two undercover agents at a regular bar. Lara is having an affair with a regular man, which makes her partner and former love interest – Chen, quite jealous… The movie is to come out at the end of Summer and it will be presented at various Festivals of Short Films in NY!

19 March, 2019 The Most Dangerous Man UVX is about to go into previews next month!

Last year Lisa was shooting her first Feature film – The Most Dangerous Man UVX, where she played Agent Kompromat, an inside liaison to Max Gunn.

And it’s finally here! The Most Dangerous Man is to premiere on April 10, 17 and 24 at the Cinépolis Chelsea 260 W 23rd St, New York, NY 10011.

2 December, 2018 The Christmas Carol with Riddlesbrood Touring Theater Company

At the beginning of December Lisa returns as Mrs Cratchit/ Mrs Hatley/ Isabelle/ the Maid in The Christmas Carol with Riddlesbrood Touring Theater Company. This time – the classic and beloved story has a new twist to it – it is a murder mystery! The spectators will have to help our cast figure out – Who Killed Jacob Marley?
